Hey ladies…how’s spring shopping coming along? Today I’m excited to feature a fellow blogger Maria Duque, who’s originally from Columbia but currently lives in LA. There’s an airy naturalness about Maria that reflects in her fashion choices as well and was very refreshing to review. Check it out…
First Look
Maria channels the everyday chic style and is spot on trend with this vibrant floral print dress that packs a punch with lots of ruffles, and lovely grey heels. Floral prints are a spring time staple for everyone, and flowy is how I like my spring silhouettes too.
Second Look
Maria has accessorized the dress with a cute coral and gold charm (that she made herself…isn’t that totally cool?) and a pearl ring that compliments the dress nicely.
Third Look
It’s time for a cocktail party…! Maria looks sexy and polished in a simple yet sophisticated black sequined top with her hair tied back for a more formal look. While the top is relatively simple, she went bold with a pale blue cocktail ring.
Fourth Look
If you’ve got errands to run and it’s still chilly outside, you can still use your oversized coat but just pair it up with tights like Maria to get that flare + fit look and have some fun with hats. Because there is so much texture in the jacket and the tights it’s good that Maria plays with a subdued palette, just working with browns and blacks.
Fifth Look
Don’t you think the black felt hat frames her pretty eyes beautifully? I can’t say enough about hats really, they are a must have addition to any fashionista’s wardrobe!
Sixth Look
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the look above…the devil is definitely in the details. Black nail paint with chunky rings and those chic brown booties complete the fun and hip look.
Seventh Look
Beigish grey blouse sexy mini skirt paired with an even hotter DKNY biker jacket completing the looking with black peep toes all focus on to-die-for legs
Eighth Look
Check out those shades! Maria managed to glam up the look in an instant with Prada shades in a classic shape that never gets old or boring, solid investment, I must say.
That’s it for today, do drop in and say hi to Maria at http://coquettebymariaduque.blogspot.com/
