Fashion’s all about versatility and adapting your style, and what more can a fashion consultant appreciate in her clients? That’s why looking at Lauren Dorsey’s pictures brought a huge smile to my face, because this girl has gone beyond just clothes and shown what versatility is about through make-up and different styles. By getting herself showcased in this section, I’m sure Lauren will inspire many. So here’re a few different looks of an emerging beauty for you.
First Look
Wearing prints is not everyone’s ball game, but Lauren knows how to do it in style. See how colorful her dress is? It’s important to keep the make-up relatively toned down and cut down on the accessories to let the print speak and get the most of the look. And check out how the graffiti behind her matches the print on the dress. That’s some awesome photography right there too!
Second Look
Black already takes inches off anyone’s body. Do it in a body-fitting style and you’ll get oohs and aahs over what a beautiful figure you’ve got. At least that’s how I first reacted when I saw this picture. The wide lapel neckline balances the rest of her petite body. Silver bangles and a beaded necklace add the needed touch of glamour.
Third Look
While going through Lauren’s pictures, I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful her eyes are. And I was really happy to find this photograph where she just lets the make-up do the talking. Check out how neatly the eyeliner is applied, perfectly blended and smudged to make it seem all natural with her beautiful soft brown eyes.
Fourth Look
Did you notice Lauren’s tattoo in the first look? Here’s a closer snapshot of it, a cute little bird in red and green. Getting a tattoo is a surefire way of making yourself look trendy and cool – definitely not someone who likes to always play it safe. But tattoos can be risky too, so you have to pull it off with the right outfit and the right attitude as Lauren does in her photographs.
Fifth Look
Now you know what I mean when I say this girl can go from mystique to biker chic in 0.001 milliseconds? Isn’t the outfit a contrast from her more surreal and relatively more feminine clothes in the earlier looks? But kudos to her for managing to look super hot no matter what she wears, even if it’s a plain striped tee and grey jeans.
Sixth Look
Lauren continues the biker chic in this photograph. The jeans-tee-boots combo can be seen again in a more toned-down mode. Her funky necklace and cool make-up are working up the magic here. See how Lauren’s done a completely different eye make-up here, going for a smokier look.
